Teddy the bear saw his own dirty reflection when taking a drink in the pond.
Mr. Tree and the Little Bird both persuaded him to take a bath, but Teddy was a bit afraid, as he had never taken a bath before. His excuse was that it was late and he would take a bath the next day. This continued for three days as he made different excuses not to take a bath. To avoid seeing his own image, Teddy even closed his eyes when taking a drink. Finally Teddy decided to take a bath as a result of the continuous encouragement from the Big Tree and the Little Bird. This story encouraged children not to escape from challenging situations.
